Our goal in designing FG&G was to create a game that is true to BITD (Blades in the Dark), actions and consequences and all but allowed us to play wizards, rangers, and bards, and to venture into dungeons to collect loot. We also wanted to create a game that allowed the GM flexibility in playing even when players are missing sessions or leaving the game permanently. We used FITD and our own ideas to create a system that has the guild as a character that bonds all the Player characters together. We believe we have achieved our goals.
We are two long-time friends starting an adventure into unknown lands. We're forging ahead, building as we go, learning as we make mistakes, pick ourselves and each other up and keeping our feet moving. It's exciting to see where we were just a couple of years ago and were we are now. As we continue this venture, we hope to build and become a part of a vibrant community.
